Our model is driven by one of the world's largest whole stool microbiome sample banks. With applications in metabolomics, metagenomics, proteomics and strain isolation. Data from these samples drive strain identification and formulation development.

Strain Library

Collection of organisms to maximize taxonomic and functional diversity for optimal capabilities in formulation development and other biotechnological applications.

The BioCollective and its partner PaleoBiotica have over 1,500 unique strains, originating from diverse and unique environments including deep-sea cores and ancient environments.

Our expansive library addresses the lack of diverse strains available for product development.

Metagenomic Datasets

Our metagenomic data sets provide taxonomic and functional characteristics of multiple cohorts, as well as whole genomic information for individual strains including antibiotic resistance and virulence.

Metabolic Analysis

The BioFlux™ Model is capable of assessing over 17,000 metabolites, drugs and other ingredients as they interact with the microbiome.  The model allows for a wide array of hypothesis testing and analysis for use in product development as well as evaluation of existing products.
